Yes! Feel free to send me your request for your favorite motif (from my range) in the desired size, and I'll create a customized quote for you. Many formats are possible. In addition to posters and high-quality canvases, I also offer inexpensive large formats on flag fabric (various sizes available). Alternatively, you can choose higher-quality options such as flame-retardant PVC banners (similar to truck tarpaulin fabric) with or without eyelets for events or at home, self-adhesive weatherproof films, or elegant acrylic glass. All newer designs were created in 20K resolution, ensuring pin-sharp resolution even for large-format prints several meters across. Custom-made pieces require a slightly longer processing time, as the artwork needs to be re-adjusted. Processing begins after consultation and receipt of payment.OriginalsUpon request, you can also commission hand-painted originals. I can reproduce existing motifs in your desired format or create a custom work of art in my own style. I also offer a mural/wall painting service in the Vienna area.
We use custom-made, genuine canvases for our canvas prints. With professional color management and 100% environmentally friendly latex inks, we guarantee brilliant colors and first-class print quality that will impress even after years. Thanks to the handcrafted, high-quality wooden frame with a depth of 2.5 cm/3.8 cm (depending on the format), your canvas will remain permanently taut, without the need for re-stretching.
I've been painting since childhood and prefer working with black fineliners, acrylic pens, and spray cans. I don't need sketches or erasers—my best works are all created freehand and in a freestyle style. Later, I scan or photograph the drawings to optimize them for printing and recolor them on the computer. I use a professional drawing display and draw every line by hand in Photoshop. Working digitally has resulted in particularly detailed works, which, thanks to the high resolution, are ideal for (textile) printing.
For the posters in our shop, we use only heavy, museum-quality Japanese paper. The cheaper posters (60x40cm and 90x60cm) were printed primarily for guerrilla marketing—your purchase supports further guerrilla postering and my street art. They're similar to movie posters: slightly thinner, but printed in high resolution and with bright, intense colors.
In short: No. Banana Bastard isn't a faceless corporation with huge warehouses, but my passion project as an artist. Every piece you order doesn't exist beforehand – it's brought to life exclusively for you (print-on-demand) in a workshop near you. This prevents mountains of unsold clothing and conserves our planet's resources.Since I ship worldwide (outside the EU), the logistics and costs for returns are simply not feasible for a small label like mine. Please check the size charts very carefully before clicking "Order." But don't worry, even a Banana Bastard has honor! Of course, you can report genuine production defects. If your item is incorrectly printed or has other flaws, I won't leave you in the lurch. Just send me a photo of the problem to art@bananabastard.at within 3 days, and I'll take care of a free replacement ASAP.
The bureaucratic madness from Brussels is simply too much for a small label to handle, both technically and financially. For example, since 2025 there's been the Packaging Directive, which isn't centrally regulated but has to be registered individually in each EU member state – including annual fees of up to €400. For fashion items, you also have to pay recycling fees for every single item. And starting in autumn 2026, there's the Guarantee Label Law, which is technically very difficult for me to implement. To protect myself from automated cease-and-desist letters, I prefer to block the EU altogether. But don't worry, I'm currently listing the most popular items in my Etsy shop: https://bananabastardart.etsy.com Just write to me if you have any questions or requests.Of course, you can also officially order all items through me (prepayment) and pick them up.
